Marksburg

Hotel Simonis Hotel Simonis 11/08/2024 leisure

In contrast to many castles on the Rhine, the Marksburg is something special because it has been almost completely preserved as a medieval fortification to this day.
The buildings, dating from the 13th to 15th centuries, provide insights into earlier times.
Come by for a tour of the castle, browse the souvenir shop and refresh yourself in the “Marksburg tavern”. The Marksburg is also available for private evening festivities, such as the “knight’s meal” in the Gothic castle kitchen.
